The room was surprisingly clean, but Wi-Fi connection was a hassle.

clean outdoor pool, ample streaming speed, quirky vintage charm
The entire room felt like a 70's time warp, not just dated but poorly maintained!!! The mismatched molding and yellowing linoleum made the place feel neglected. Attention to upkeep and modernization is essential!!!

Checked into Scottish Inns with low expectations due to mixed reviews. I enjoyed the cleanliness of my room, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. Having a microwave and fridge was handy for my snacks. Good water pressure in the shower was a pleasant surprise. The property, though dated, had some quirky charm that felt nostalgic. However, the staff insisted on cleaning my room after the first day, which felt intrusive. I had to wait outside while they checked things. Breakfast was basic—just coffee and bread—for those who love variety, this could be a letdown. I appreciated the well-maintained surrounding areas for walking my dog, making it a decent stay overall. Wi-fi connection was tricky. I had issues connecting my laptop. I wouldn’t rush to book again without considering other options first.

definitely want to stay in that area again
The room had air conditioning and a private bathroom which were nice perks. I appreciated having a TV with cable channels and a fridge for drinks. The trash cans were empty upon arrival, and the clothes rack was handy for hanging my things. The water pressure in the shower was good too.
